Heres a first look at the first two hours of Activisions second attempt at a Tony Hawk remake. The game features all of the professional skateboarders from the original 19 games (save for secret skater Spider-Man), as well as newer characters like Tony Hawk's son Riley. Activision's remaster of the first two games, Pro Skater 1 + 2, launched in 2020 to positive reviews and impressive sales. The Pro Skater fan on Reddit credited another Twitter user with pointing out these holiday art clues, but the Redditor also connected the messages with an earlier hint dropped seemingly by accident. Jess Margera, drummer for band CKY, said in an April 2021 interview, "I believe we're doing the new one coming out, too." However, Margera walked back his comment in May, saying he'd only heard rumors and had "no inside intel or connections."Īny new release in the Tony Hawk series would be a surprise, as the skateboarding franchise has been dormant since Pro Skater 5 in 2015.
